My name is Edwige. I came to the Boston area from Bretagne 20 years ago. The mother of three, an adjunct professor, and a yoga enthusiast, I spend my days doing what I love (ok, most days… many days… as often as I can may be more accurate ;)!
I am grateful for slow living, minimalism, and mindfulness in my life. Three months recovering from a torn Achilles tendon certainly taught me about slow living ;). Moving into a small apartment recently was an opportunity to leave behind 90% of my possessions. I have also decluttered my schedule in order to do the things that make me happy, and to spend time with the people I love. I take time to check in: how am I feeling, what is going on around me, who am I surrounding myself with? These are the tools I use to build a more meaningful life.
I have discovered that I love making things. I love colors. I love texture. Sewing, embroidery, writing, and mixed media art journaling have become my daily companions. This blog is one of the places I share my experiences.
I hope you enjoy it and that it sparks your own creativity.
Thank you for dropping by!
